The fragrances are produced by a family-run company in the south of France that has been creating perfumes since 1871. A patented process ensures that the essential oils in the perfume are preserved. The result: fresh laundry with a natural fragrance that lasts for up to 4 weeks. Depending on the appliance model, you can use one or even two fragrances.

With this system, your laundry dries perfectly – even if the water contains significant amounts of calcium. This is by no means the norm on machines without PerfectDry as the calcium content in the water influences residual moisture sensing – in turn impacting on drying results. PerfectDry takes the current calcium content of water into account and precisely adjusts the drying process, ensuring that the selected drying level is always achieved.

Being leak-proof is very important with regard to the quality of a tumble dryer. The less moist, warm air escaping from the appliance, the higher the condensation effect. High levels of moisture escaping into a closed room are also very unpleasant: condensation on walls can result in mould and damage the fabric of a building. Tumble drying has never been so quiet! The new SilenceDrum is far quieter during drying. The special design of the drum reduces subjectively perceived noise spikes by half – in particular when drying garments with buttons and zips. Your appliance can display information and tips in several languages to ensure that you understand everything. Simply select your language from the language menu. A flag directs you. This enables you to find your way – even if a language has been selected which you do not understand.

Maximum user convenience: thanks to the new Wash2Dry networking function, your washing machine sends its data to the tumble dryer after the wash cycle. The dryer then automatically selects the corresponding programme for your laundry. All you have to do is load the laundry from the washing machine into the dryer, switch it on, and select Wash2Dry. As a result, your textiles – whether it’s denim jeans or dress shirts – are always perfectly dried. In order to use this function, the appliances must be registered in the in-house WiFi network.

Whether it's a pair of jeans, a blouse or just a sock: thanks to the AddLoad function, you can easily add any laundry items that you've forgotten – up until shortly before the end of the programme. Operation is easy: press the “Start / Add laundry” button to stop the programme. 

All Miele heat-pump dryers feature integrated condensed water drainage with a hose tidy. As a result, you can pump out condensate into a sink or a siphon and save yourself the trouble of emptying the condensate container.

The Eco feedback function helps you to dry as economically as possible. The estimated energy consumption appears before the start of the selected programme. The actual consumption is displayed during and after drying. This value will vary depending on the load. This allows you, on the basis of accurate data, to protect the environment and save money. Do you just want to freshen up your favourite item of clothing? DryFresh^® removes unpleasant odours during the drying programme – without having to wash your clothes. This is all thanks to a longer ventilation phase, which is gentle on delicate fabrics. For optimum results, add a DryFresh^® fragrance flacon to the tumble dryer. This system, which is unique to Miele, both neutralises odours and gives clothes a pleasant scent.

Miele SteamFinish makes laundry care easy. At the beginning of the drying process, the SteamFinish programme gently sprays water into the honeycomb drum, where it is heated by the drying air. The developing steam visibly smoothes the laundry. The new PowerFresh Extra freshens up your fabrics with steam – without having to wash them first. Optimum results can be achieved by adding a DryFresh® fragrance flacon to neutralise odours.

If you cannot remove your laundry immediately after the end of the drying programme, the anti-crease action ensures that the items are loosened up at regular intervals to prevent excessive creasing.
